Ubud Jungle Ashrams
Rice-terrace yoga shalas, river-stone massage and ancient Balinese melukat water rituals.

About Ubud Jungle Ashrams
Ubud is Bali's wellness capital — a small inland town surrounded by river gorges, rice terraces and the volcanic spine of Mount Agung. The yoga economy that built Eat Pray Love still defines it, but newer integrative properties (Como Shambhala, Fivelements) have raised the architectural bar.
The local wellness tradition is Tri Hita Karana — harmony among people, nature and the divine — and it shows up in everything from offerings on every doorstep to the daily melukat water-purification rite.
Signature Rituals
Melukat — Balinese Hindu water purification at a sacred spring.
Twice-daily vinyasa overlooking the Ayung river gorge.
River-stone massage using volcanic basalt warmed in coconut oil.
